This oval-shaped basket, crafted by the Waunaán indigenous communities of the Colombian Pacific coast, is made from the natural fiber of the native Werregue palm. Using a coiling and stitching technique, they create a variety of products, many of which feature modern designs adorned with eye-catching figures, making each item a dream of exclusivity. These baskets are among the earliest creations of the Waunaán culture, originally used for transporting water and food. Today, they are exquisite decorative pieces that add a touch of elegance to any space.
