Antique Burmese storage box, crafted from a single piece of teak wood, traditionally known as the “log box” because it is made from planks cut from the trunk of a Burmese teak tree. The box is designed to hold valuables such as gold and silver items, silk garments, and anything else requiring security and protection. It sits atop a sturdy base frame. The lid has a flat surface and is attached to the main box with brass hinges. A beautiful brass latch is fixed to the lid, fitting snugly into a ring attached to the main box, which can be secured with a padlock.
