Talavera pieces are a symbol of Mexican tradition, an icon of Puebla’s identity, backed by the tradition, rich craftsmanship of over four centuries of production, and the experience of the artisans. Owning a Uriarte Talavera product speaks of quality. Made with a glazed ceramic technique, originally from Spain. Because the 16th-century manufacturing methods are still used, their designs and processes are unique, and no two pieces are exactly alike, as they are completely handmade. Some pieces can take three months or more to produce.
