Description

A traditional Balinese musical instrument known as the Bonag. This traditional instrument features twelve small bronze gongs, arranged in two rows of six, set in square openings within a rectangular teak wood frame. They are suspended by a string threaded through channels carved into the frame. The ends are carved with two removable dragon figures, their tails intertwined at the top, their bodies curved, and their heads resting at the bottom.
