Handmade Moroccan rectangular mirror crafted from wood and decorated with metal studs and bone inlays. The inlay technique is an ancient art form requiring skill and time. Each artisan can take several weeks to create these pieces using animal bone, which is shaped by hand-cutting, crushing, and sawing each piece to fit a specific design. Colored resin is then applied with a trowel to the entire surface. The resin and bone are sanded smooth and polished for a final touch. This process, combined with the natural materials, gives each piece a distinctive character.
