Vintage folding walnut chair, handcrafted in Syria. Its Moorish style, hand-carved Arabic calligraphy and foliage, mother-of-pearl inlays, and brass fittings make it a collector’s item, deserving of a prominent place where its historical significance is recognized. It features an X-shaped design with a high back and openwork wooden slats. The upper section, known as the crown, is decorated with floral, polka dot, and geometric motifs.
This chair has a rich, antique patina and is approximately 30 years old.
