Handwoven backpacks made by indigenous communities settled in the municipality of Florencia – Caquetá in Colombia, are made from natural cumare fiber, which is extracted from the cumare palm, then dried, subsequently spun and finally woven to create handicrafts such as these backpacks, which due to their production process are an important representation of these communities, are resistant and durable.
