Our beautiful Arhuaca backpack is handwoven from sheep’s wool by indigenous communities in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. The weaving technique uses a capotera needle stitch, one stitch per knot; this is one of the most time-consuming techniques to master. Each backpack embodies history and tradition, and it takes approximately two months to complete. Perfect for any occasion.
